Day 16, Alcohol Ink and Pen, Honeysuckle

30 in 30 hosted by Leslie Saeta.

Painting with alcohol ink is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you'll get.

Honeysuckle
Alcohol Ink and Pen
8" x 12"

But the one thing you can count on with alcohol inks are bright, vibrant colors. I love the way the colors mix and make patterns. This is our honeysuckle bought in a box from Walmart 15 years ago. I never thought it would survive but it did more than that. It thrived, and is a favorite of many hummingbirds in the summer.

  1. Thanks c., The Alcohol Inks are so bright... sometimes I feel like my watercolors are too dull so I love the colors too.
