We have many daylilies in our garden. Their blooms last for just one day (thus their name). The spent flowers dry up and turn brown. I have always enjoyed deadheading them. I just turn the hose on "jet stream" and shoot the flowers off their stalks. It's just like a carnival game! I'm enjoying the freeness of alcohol inks, sometimes my watercolors become so controlled that it's good to let loose.
